Remembering The Silence

The little girl cries out
But no one hears
She cries out in silence
Terror and fear

Her body is shaking
She cannot see
Will it ever end
Will she ever be free

The pain is unbearable
She suffers alone
No one to care for her
No one is home

Out of the darkness
The light of day begins
Buried in silence
From now till the end
