Sitting on the sand
Warmed by the sun
Watching and listening
To the waves from the sea
Crashing to shore
The smell of salt water
I can feel my toes
Digging into the sand
Making tiny holes that disappear
Gone forever
Like my childhood
My dreams
And my wishes
Gone in an instant
Washed away forever
