Free...
Free from the pain
I do not want
To be back there again

I fear the unknown
But cannot seem to find
A place to belong
To sort through my mind

Innocence lost
Barriers built
Shelters to hide
Away from the guilt

A moment in  time
An eternity there
Fear and pain
Will no one care?

Care for the child
The child is to blame
No one will  know
The extent of her shame

Secret places
Forbidden
Moments in time
Forever hidden
