S E C T I O N S

Evie

The following poem was written to me by my dear friend and fellow business associate, Evelyn.

well, here it is and I hope you approve.
This is came to me as I though of the suffering
you endured and the wonderful, loving person you have become.

Childhood Lost

A tiny child
lay sleeping restlessly
in her little bed.

For fear of abuse
past and future fills
her dreams will nightmares.

How could this
happen to such a child
so precious and innocent?

Could I take some of
your pain by giving
loving tribute?

Oh friend of mine
my words do come
to comfort you.

For all you've suffered
stands as a tribute to
the woman you've become.

Childhood may be lost,
but reclaim it now by
setting your inner child free.
